About Me

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker specializing in individual, couples and family therapy.

With over twenty years experience as a mental health and substance abuse therapist, and as a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University specializing in Cognitive Behavioral therapy, I currently serve as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of expertise are depression, anxiety, panic, grief and substance abuse.

I am an interactive, solution-focused therapist. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client.  I utilize research based methods which have been studied and proven to be effective.  With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.

I was born in Brooklyn, New York and grew up on Long Island.  My husband and I moved to Santa Fe in 2010 and we hope to make this our "forever" home.  We were drawn to Santa Fe by the natural beauty of the landscape and the people.  My free time is spent cooking, exercising, traveling and playing with our three dogs.
